The Great Living Room StandoffWhen One Person Scrolls and Everyone Else Cleans

The cleaner glides across the floor like a determined warrior facing dust monsters. A smaller assistant stands nearby, learning valuable life lessons about responsibility. On the sofa, however, another strategy is being demonstrated:
The Ancient Art of Looking Busy Without Actually Cleaning.
Experts have identified several techniques:
Holding a phone with complete concentration.
Avoiding eye contact with anyone carrying cleaning supplies.
Remaining perfectly still in hopes of becoming invisible.
Claiming to be "supervising quality control."
Unfortunately, dust is unimpressed by these tactics.
The truth is that a clean home is a team effort. Every mopped floor, vacuumed carpet, and dust-free surface comes from people working together. When everyone contributes, cleaning gets done faster and nobody has to battle the dust army alone.
Of course, if the couch commander refuses to join the mission, there is always one final solution:
Hand over a mop and announce, "Congratulations, you've been promoted to Assistant Floor Manager."
Suddenly, everyone becomes very interested in helping.
The Moral of the Story
A clean home doesn't happen by magic.
It happens when everybody puts down the phone, picks up a cleaning tool, and joins the adventure before the dust wins.
